Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I've got on here to announce that in March 2025 I will be competing in a charity boxing match at a black tie event based in Milton Keynes.

Considering most professional boxers look to retire around 35 At the age of 37 and Turing 38 2 days before the fight I've got to be mad. But there is a method / meaning to the madness. The cause I am doing this for, means a lot to me personally.

The Charity I am raising money for is great omand street hospital. The treatment provided at great omand street is nothing short of amazing.

This hospital means a lot to me for a couple of reasons but the main one is my son was treated there, and that's why I am doing this video rather than simply writing a post.

Although it was a very difficult time in our life in someways I count my son as one of the luckier ones. During our stay there I got to see what other children were battling with. Full disclaimer the following stories may be upsetting to some.

I witnessed a new born baby with an type of immuno deficiency order. Spending its time in what could be best described as a bubble tent. A young girl a couple of rooms down from our son was being treated for a face tuma which involved her face being cut and peeled back every month or so. And not to forget the countless kids I had to walk past knowing they themselves would never leave the hospital or recover. It puts life into perspective.

So am I absolutely bricking it for this fight? Yes but my fear is incomparable to what these children go through, including what my son had to at such a young age. I'm fighting for these little fighters and that's my inspiration!

On a slightly lighter note I will be documenting the full journey, from training updates to Conversations on physical health, mental health, challenges set by construction firms. Competitions, I may be even be touching base with a few professional boxers and much more. I'm aiming to create as much buzz as possible around this fight in order to raise as much as I can.

I will also be looking for a main sponsor who will be mentioned in all the above content as well as have me wearing there company logo on my vest during the event. So get in contact
