This is the sixth year the Long Crendon Cycling Club have tackled a section of Europe. This year sees the continuation of the journey with a route covering over 300 miles from Porto to Lisbon in Portugal.

Throughout the team have been raising funds for charities that have personal meaning and to date over £150,000 has been raised.

As a rookie in the team i'll be joining them this year for the first time and hope to support these fantastic fundraising efforts

The support is for three incredible charities:

Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital has been a beacon of hope for children facing challenging medical conditions. Sam's daughter Milly will soon undergo her third major complex surgery there in July.

The care and support provided by St David's Hospice Care have been nothing short of remarkable, offering comfort and dignity to so many through Palliative Care, including Sam's twin brother and his young as he bravely fought the Cancer that eventually took him.

Additionally, MacMillan Cancer Support has been a lifeline for Rhodri and his family following his wife Vicky's recent diagnosis with breast cancer.

These causes are incredibly personal to us and these charities touch all of our lives. None of these amazing organisations would be able to offer the help and support to those who really need it without your help and support.
