I'm raising money in memory of my friend Chris. In addition to his chosen charity of British Heart Foundation, I have also chosen Prostate Cancer UK due to the support, advice and help they gave me when I had the disease in 2019.

Approximately 1 in 8 men (about 12–13%) in the UK will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. Risk increases significantly with age, particularly over 50, and is higher for Black men (1 in 4). It is the most common cancer in men in the UK, accounting for 28% of male cases.

Prostate Cancer UK are raising the awareness of the disease and the simple test that is available to catch it early.
