Susie Besant is raising money for One-Eighty

Story

On 17th May, my son, some of his buddies, and I will be taking part in the Blenheim Fun Run! Why? We are raising awareness and vital fundraising for a charity supporting young people who otherwise would slip through the net for support.

One-Eighty is an award-winning charity supporting young people aged 4–17 across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. They are the only charity locally bridging the gap between mental health and education, helping young people who are struggling to stay engaged with education.

Too many young people are missing out on education because anxiety, trauma, neurodiversity or unmet needs are going unsupported. One-Eighty steps in early, meeting young people where they are — at home, in school or in the community — to help them rebuild confidence, manage their emotions and move forward.

This year, I’m taking part in One-Eighty’s Super Sunday, choosing to take on either the Blenheim 7k or the Spartan 10k, to help raise vital funds for their work.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps ensure young people don’t slip through the cracks.

Thank you so much for your support.
