Story
In June, I’ll be taking on the iconic cycling challenge — Land’s End to John O’Groats — around 900 miles in 10 days — as part of THE M&S BIG FUN-RAISER 2026, raising money for YoungMinds.
From 4th–13th June, I’ll be joining a small team of M&S colleagues from across the UK, cycling 80–100 miles a day from Cornwall’s most southerly tip to Scotland’s northernmost point.
YoungMinds is the UK’s leading charity for youth mental health, delivering vital support to young people and their families. Their mission is simple but powerful: to stop young people’s mental health reaching crisis point.
From personal experience, I understand how deeply mental health challenges can shape a young person’s world. Learning to understand and manage those challenges can feel like a mammoth journey — which is why early support is so incredibly important. YoungMinds works to ensure that no young person feels alone in that process.
Anyone who knows me knows how much I love riding my bike. In recent years, when my own physical health has been challenged, cycling has been a vital tool in supporting my mental wellbeing. By riding 900 miles this June, I hope to raise funds that help young people on their own journeys, enabling them to find the tools and support that work for them.
I would be incredibly grateful for any donation, no matter how small — every £1 will help power each mile north.
