💙 100 Miles in April 💙
I want to be honest — I know I’m not as active as I should be. That’s why I’ve set myself this challenge: during April, I’m aiming to walk 100 miles across the month as part of my personal “Voyage to Recovery.”
This isn’t just about distance — it’s about building resilience, consistency, and taking small steps toward better wellbeing. Every mile I complete is a reminder that recovery is a journey, and progress comes one step at a time. To keep myself accountable, I’ll be tracking miles on Strava and posting images of my daily miles, so supporters can follow my progress along the way.
This personal challenge also ties into something bigger: this summer, a team of individuals from CNTW EIP teams, alongside inspiring service users, will embark on an extraordinary journey of healing and growth. Together, they will set sail on a ship from Whitehaven to Troon as part of ‘Voyage to Recovery 2026’. This adventure therapy isn’t just about sailing; it’s about navigating the waters of recovery, building resilience, and fostering connections that last a lifetime.
While the SHINE fund has made this voyage possible, supporting similar transformative projects in the future depends on us. By joining me in this challenge — whether through donations or sharing this page — you are helping raise awareness of mental health and supporting opportunities for people experiencing mental health challenges. Every step I take, and every contribution made, brings us closer to creating waves of hope and healing.
