Bethany School's Rowing Challenge · 13 February 2026

MS-UK is here to support anyone affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), which affects over 150,000 people in the UK. We empower people with MS to live healthier and happier lives by improving the understanding of the condition and providing support where it is needed most.

Story

Each half term the Bethany School Sixth Form Prefect Team are challenged to show some altruism and raise money for a charity of their choosing.

This Spring Term, the Prefect Team are raising money for MS Trust UK with a KRS (competitive house) Rowing Competition on Friday 13th February.

The event will run throughout Periods 1–6 outside in the centre of the Bethany campus.

Friendly competition has always been an important feature of life at Bethany; the three competitive houses, Kiplings, Roberts and Speakers (KRS), have challenged one another throughout the School’s long history. All pupils – day and boarding – belong to one of the three houses and competitions cover the broad spectrum of all parts of school life.

Participants can row for any length of time, with distances contributing to their House total and the House with the most points will be declared the winner! So come along, get involved and help your house row its way to success while supporting an important cause.
