Story

With a heart full of gratitude and a deeply personal mission, I want to share our journey with you. My wife, Sheila, our 6 year old son, Ayan and I embarked on an emotional rollercoaster when our newborn son, Vihaan, was born on Thursday 7th September 2023. Vihaan's first month was spent in the neonatal ward, where courage met vulnerability, and the incredible doctors and nurses of that ward became our friends.

Our journey was a rollercoaster of emotions—moments of happiness, though short-lived, followed by anxious nights and the constant battle for our son's well-being. But in those moments, along with our family and friends, the incredible doctors and nurses were our unwavering support system. Their hands held our Vihaan with infinite care, their expertise shone through every procedure, and their unwavering support provided solace during our darkest hours. Sheila and I witnessed firsthand the miraculous work they do every day.

They are the silent heroes of our journey, and I am running the London Marathon 2024 in their honor, with every stride raising funds for the Cosmic Charity.

Cosmic Charity is an organisation that stands by these remarkable doctors and nurses, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to continue their life-saving work. As I lace up my running shoes, I'm asking for your support to help Cosmic Charity, which, in turn, helps these amazing medical professionals.

Here's a glimpse of the incredible work that Cosmic Charity does:

Providing Essential Equipment: Cosmic Charity ensures that neonatal units are equipped with the latest technology and life-saving equipment, giving babies like Vihaan the best possible chance at survival.

Research and Development: They invest in cutting-edge research, enabling doctors and nurses to stay at the forefront of neonatal care, continually improving outcomes for premature and sick infants.

Supporting Families: Cosmic Charity understands that the journey of a premature or sick baby is also a challenging one for families like ours. They offer emotional support, guidance, and a helping hand throughout this difficult time.

Training and Education: Cosmic Charity funds training programs for medical professionals, ensuring they are well-prepared to care for fragile newborns like Vihaan, keeping them on the path to a healthy life.

Your Donation Matters!

By donating today, you become a part of this incredible mission. Your contribution will directly support Cosmic Charity in their efforts to empower doctors and nurses with the tools they need to save the tiniest lives. Your generosity will also bring hope to families like mine who have been through the neonatal journey.

Please join me in making a difference. Together, we can provide the critical support needed to ensure that neonatal units have everything required to care for the most vulnerable among us.

No amount is too small. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of premature and sick infants like Vihaan.

As I prepare to run the London Marathon in 2024, I carry with me the stories of every tiny fighter who has ever graced a neonatal ward. With your support, we can honor the doctors, nurses, and the incredible spirit of these babies. Together, we can make a brighter, healthier future for them.

Thank you for being a part of this life-saving mission.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Bhav, Sheila, Ayan & Vihaan
