Story
I’ll be walking the 11-mile stretch from Instow to Westward Ho! along the South West Coast Path with my wife Claire and friends, as part of a much bigger and inspiring challenge in support of 65 Degrees North: www.65degreesnorth.org
On that same day, teams and individuals will come together to collectively cover the entire South West Coast Path, 630 miles split across 52 legs, all walked within a single day. It’s an ambitious challenge organised by a former beneficiary of the charity, and it reflects exactly what 65 Degrees North is all about: resilience, teamwork and determination.
Whilst we’ll be taking on one leg, this is part of something far bigger.
65 Degrees North supports wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veterans through life-changing, adventure-based rehabilitation programmes. These experiences help rebuild confidence, restore belief and give people a renewed sense of purpose, often at a time when they need it most.
This charity provides more than support, it creates opportunities for real transformation, helping individuals re-discover their strength alongside others who understand their journey.
Having served their country, they deserve that chance.
This walk is a small contribution compared to what many of them have faced, but if it helps raise awareness and funds to support their recovery and future, then it’s absolutely worth it.
As a collective, the aim is to raise £5,000 to support the continued work of 65 Degrees North, helping ensure they can keep transforming lives through adventure and rehabilitation.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how big or small, it would mean a great deal. Every step we take is for them and every contribution helps make a difference.
Thank you for your support 🙏
