Story
On May 16th, 2026, We will be participating in an ambitious event: walking the South West Coastal Path in a Day. This trail is the longest continuous path in the UK, consisting of 52 individual legs that each take one day to walk. Our goal is to have at least 52 individuals or groups join us on this journey—each walking one leg on the same day.
This organisation has over the past 7 years been pivotal in my life living with Complex PTSD and I have personally felt the power of this charity through opportunity layered with compassion and understanding. The benefits of adventure do help those positively through their own individual rehabilitation, who are currently like the person I used to be when I was at my lowest. When someone gives you something, you naturally feel obliged to give something back. The charity gave me my life back so I have a deep feeling of gratitude and want to support them as best I can.
This event is open to everyone! If you’re looking for an opportunity to enjoy a day’s walk along some of the most breathtaking coastline in the world while supporting a worthy cause, I invite you to join us. Please spread awareness about this event among your friends and family; every step taken helps make a difference.
Together we can raise £5,000 for 65 Degrees North and continue their vital work in supporting those who have served our country. If you want to get involved or have any questions, please email me at swcp.65dn@gmail.com.
