Story
At 65 Degrees North, we are dedicated to supporting the rehabilitation of wounded, injured, or sick (WIS) service personnel and veterans through the power of adventure. This charity has played a crucial role in so many's journey back to health, helping us reclaim our life from the grips of mental illness. While 65 Degrees North may not be a large organization, its impact on individuals like myself is profound and transformative. Every member is a volunteer, driven by passion rather than profit.
Over the past six years, their unwavering support has fostered feelings of positivity, self-confidence, purpose, joy, and hope within me and many others. These emotions are difficult to articulate but resonate deeply within us all. This is a great chance to give back by undertaking a challenge that mirrors the incredible work this charity does for so many.
On May 16th, 2026, We will be participating in an ambitious event: walking the South West Coastal Path in a Day. This trail is the longest continuous path in the UK, consisting of 52 individual legs that each take one day to walk. Our goal is to have at least 52 individuals or groups join us on this journey—each walking one leg on the same day.
This event is open to everyone! If you’re looking for an opportunity to enjoy a day’s walk along some of the most breathtaking coastline in the world while supporting a worthy cause, I invite you to join us. Please spread awareness about this event among your friends and family; every step taken helps make a difference.
Together we can raise £5,000 for 65 Degrees North and continue their vital work in supporting those who have served our country. If you want to get involved or have any questions, please email me at swcp.65dn@gmail.com.
