Camp Mohawk are proud to be an official charity partner of Reading Half Marathon and Mini Marathon 2027 - even prouder to have a team of people dedicated to fundraise for the children we support.

Our team of runners are supporting us to help over 900 local children with Special Education Needs or disabilities and their families, to have a safe and inclusive environment to enjoy and treasure.

Family life can be very different when a child has endless medical appointments and hospital stays or finds the noises and lights in a supermarket overwhelming. The whole family is affected by the challenges a child with disabilities face, and this often causes a sense of isolation, as getting out of the family home together can be challenging for the child, but also for the parents/carers and siblings.

Camp Mohawk provides a safe and adapted environment for over 900 families, that meets everyone's unique needs and ensures children can play, build bonds and make memories together.
