The ability to get around is vital in order to live a full life yet thousands of people with sight loss never leave home alone. We empower visually impaired people to do that and rely on the support of the public to fund the guide dog service.

Story

Guide Dogs works for a world where people with sight loss are never left out of life, for a world where being blind or partially sighted is not what defines you. A world with enough support to make the challenges of sight loss no barrier to fulfilling hopes and dreams. Kate has been partially sighted following an accident 10 years ago and Guide Dogs have supported her throughout this time. This is an opportunity to give something back.

Supported by her husband John, Kate is aiming to cycle round mainland Britain, over 7,000 km averaging about 100 kilometres a day. The aim is to raise at least £2,500 to sponsor a Guide Dog puppy that will be named, ‘Bosley’. Please help us to reach this goal by sponsoring us. All the money you sponsor will go towards supporting the Guide Dog puppy.
