Bramley Family is raising money for Noah's Star

Bramley family's fundraiser for Noah's Star

Noah’s Star supports families of premature and sick babies and children within Neonatal Unit’s and Childrens Hospitals. In July 2015, the founders twin boys, Oscar, and Noah, were born at 25 weeks. Tragically, Noah lived for only 30 hours, while Oscar faced various health conditions. Balancing their older child’s needs, coping with the loss of Noah, and managing constant anxiety about Oscar's health created immense challenges for the family. Recognising the struggles faced by families in similar situations, the founder of Noah's Star is determined to use her personal experiences and passion to help others. Our objectives are to: • Provide emotional support for the whole family facing the challenges of premature birth • Share practical advice and coping strategies. • Reduce feelings of isolation by connecting parents with others who have similar experiences. • Promote mental health and well-being for the whole family during and after their NICU stay.

Story

Hi All,

As you may know, our amazing Mom has been diagnosed with leukaemia. Because of this, we want to do a charity challenge to raise some money, to show her what she means to us. The charity Noah's Star is close to our hearts, as it is the charity our Mom volunteers for.

We will be walking the South Downs (25K) on 9th August, and the Thames Moonlight walk on (16KM).

We really hope you can donate, Its going to be physical and mental challenge for us and we hope you can be with us along the way.

Noah's Star is a service that supports the parents of premature and ill babies at Birmingham Women's Hospital has now helped more than 2,000 families. They really need all the support they can get, and we know our Mom loved volunteering there.
