At Bridgewater School, community is at the heart of who we are, and this October we are proud to be coming together to support the Motor Neurone Disease Association and the incredible work it does for people living with MND and their families.

Inspired by Sir Kevin Sinfield’s extraordinary ‘7 in 7’ challenge, pupils and staff across Bridgewater will be taking on challenges of our own, embracing the spirit of determination, teamwork, kindness and going the extra mile for others.

Our fundraising will culminate in a very special moment on Friday 2nd October, when Bridgewater School becomes an official checkpoint on Day 6 of Sir Kevin’s challenge. We are incredibly proud to welcome him and his team as they continue their remarkable journey towards Old Trafford.

This is a cause that has particular meaning for us. MND has touched the lives of people within our own school community, making our support for the MND Association all the more personal.

Every challenge completed and every donation made will help the MND Association provide vital support to people living with MND, their families and carers, while helping to fund research and the ongoing fight for a world free from MND.

We hope our whole Bridgewater community – pupils, families, staff, alumni and friends – will get behind us as we take on our challenge, support Sir Kevin and, together, go the extra mile for MND.
