Woodcraft Folk is the Co-operative children and young people's movement. We run hundreds of grassroots education groups across the UK where young people of all ages meet to play games, make friends and learn about big ideas from climate change to social justice through co-operative activities.

Story

Bristol Woodcraft Folk runs groups across the city for children aged 6 - 21.

Our camping trips are a highlight of the year for many of our members. A chance for all ages to enjoy games, outdoor adventures and of course songs around the campfire.

We Need your Help to Camp Again

Our store has been broken into and much of our camping equipment was stolen, including most of our tents, solar lighting and equipment vital for keeping everyone clean and healthy at camp.

While insurance will cover some of the costs, we're looking to raise £3000 to replace the missing items.

£350 will purchase a tent for 4 young people to sleep

£300 will purchase a shelter

£75 will purchase a toilet tent

£50 will replace all our washing up tubs.

About Woodcraft Folk

At Woodcraft Folk we believe passionately in equality and co-operation: everyone is welcome to join us. Our aim is to have great fun, but also to develop children's self-confidence and build their awareness of society around them. Through our activities, outings and camps we help our members to understand important issues like the environment, world debt and global conflict, to develop activities focused on sustainable development, and to encourage children to think, hoping that they will help build a peaceful, fairer world.
