#4Ed
Campaign by Gloucester Rugby Foundation (RCN 1165303)
Recognising the unique challenges MND presents, the 4ED Foundation provides vital financial resources to enhance the quality of life for those affected by MND, proactively supporting those adapting to ever-changing circumstances.

Story

In July 2022 Gloucester Rugby player Ed Slater announced his diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) and thus the 4Ed campaign was created to raise awareness and funds in support of Ed and his family’s battle with the disease. What followed was an outpouring of support, generosity, and kindness from the rugby family across the globe.

By supporting this fundraiser you will be directly helping hundreds of families living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) to access urgent financial and psychological support from the Gloucester Rugby Foundation, allowing them to concentrate on the important things without the new pressures in front of them.

Thank you for your kindness in raising awareness and funds 4Ed and the families that this has effected.

We take on this 77-mile challenge because sticking within the norms has never appealed to us.

All of us have been surrounded by sport from a young age and without rugby we would not be best mates like we are today.

Throughout University we loved to get involved with charity events and this is our opportunity to give back and fight for those that have found themselves in this situation.
