Be Someone's Santa (SCIO) was set up to help provide gifts and essential support to those suffering hardship and poverty. We provide Christmas gifts for specifically nominated children and young adults who are unlikely to receive anything at Christmas time. What began as a small collection by a Glasgow South Side mum five years ago now delivers over 2,000 gifts each year.

In 2021 we were successful in being awarded charity status. The charity is run entirely by a small team of unpaid volunteers. This means every penny of funds raised goes directly to the recipients of our appeal.

Two tickets for Rangers v Celtic on 28 February 2026 are being raffled with all proceeds going to Be Someone's Santa. Having available funds is hugely helpful to our appeal. Funds are typically used for:

**Keeping cosy - we would love to ensure every child on our caseload has a warm pair of PJs and slippers to accompany their gift.

**Emergency/late gifting - we often get last minute children added to our caseload (sometimes only a week before Christmas), by which time it is too late for us to find someone to pledge for them. Having funds means we can buy gifts for these children.

**Food and heat vouchers - to ensure the most in need families have food and heat to see them over the Christmas period.

Two tickets for the Rangers v Celtic game, seated together in the West Enclosure (SW4) are being raffled to raise much needed funds for Be Someone's Santa, with all the proceeds going to the charity.

The cost is £5 per entry or three entries for £10. The closing date for entries is 30 November 2025 and the winner will be announced on 1 December 2025 on the Ibrox Noise Facebook page.
