Cam FM's 24 Hour Charity Broadcast is back for 2026 - this time with a twist!
We're teaming up with a whole host of talented radio presenters and DJs from Rare FM, UCL's student radio station, to bring you 24 hours of uninterrupted programming. From the 7th to the 8th of February, starting at 12pm, the best and brightest from both stations will showcase an exciting blend of content, including some never-before-seen collaborations between presenters from London and Cambridge.
Our fundraiser is in support of the Disasters Emergency Committee's Middle East Humanitarian Appeal, which has continued to provide life-saving aid to victims of conflict in Gaza, Lebanon, the West Bank and Syria. Here are some words from DEC regarding their mission:
Winter has arrived in Gaza. Recent flooding inundated people's tents and destroyed their precious belongings. Children are sleeping without warm shelter, clothes or blankets. The humanitarian needs remain huge.
The DEC brings together 15 leading UK aid charities to raise funds quickly and efficiently at times of humanitarian crisis overseas. DEC charities and their local partners have been working in Gaza throughout the crisis, scaling up their response whenever the situation allows to help provide lifesaving aid to Palestinians. They have decades of expertise in working in the region to help meet people’s needs, despite all the challenges.
Following the ceasefire announcement in October 2025, DEC charities and their local partners have been scaling up their aid response. Despite the many challenges they are facing, they are continuing to deliver urgently needed support.
Donate now to the DEC Middle East Humanitarian Appeal to support this lifesaving work.
