Story

Mental health affects all of us. For some it is a constant companion. For others, a single life event can tip the balance overnight. Either way, it matters and it deserves attention.

I know this first-hand. At the peak of my corporate career in London, stress and exhaustion crept up on me quietly. What started as long hours and disrupted sleep gradually became something harder to ignore. That experience is what eventually led me to train as a Yoga and Qigong teacher, specialising in nervous system regulation and burnout prevention.

I see the impact of stress and overwhelm on people's lives every single day in my classes. And I know how quickly it can tip into something more serious without the right support.

That is why I am supporting West Kent Mind this Mental Health Awareness Week.

From 11th to 17th May, I will be walking every day and sharing one practical mental health tip each day across my Instagram and Facebook stories, simple, accessible tools that anyone can try, wherever they are.

Every pound raised goes directly to West Kent Mind, supporting vital mental health services right here in our local community in Tonbridge and across Kent.

We have a target of £150. Every donation, however small, brings us closer and makes a real difference to people who need support.
