I'm Carl Waring and, in March 2027, I'll be joining eight colleagues from Mooneerams Solicitors to take on a 50km trek across the Sahara Desert in support of Noah's Ark Children's Hospital Charity.

Over the past couple of years, we've had the privilege of getting to know the wonderful team at Noah's Ark and learning more about the work they do to support children and families across Wales. The charity helps fund equipment, facilities and services that make a real difference to young patients and their families.

The trek itself won't be easy. We'll spend several days walking across desert terrain in challenging conditions, with long hours on our feet and very few comforts along the way. That's precisely why we signed up.

I'll be 67 years old by the time we set off. I know how fortunate I am to still be able to run, walk and take on challenges like this, and I want to make the most of that good fortune by raising as much money as I can for a cause I care deeply about.
