Story
Globally, tiger populations are in crisis, with fewer than 5,000 left in the wild. Bhutan, a country renowned for its rich biodiversity and deep cultural connection to nature, has bucked the trend - tiger numbers there have grown by 27% to around 130 individuals. But their survival is far from guaranteed.
Through the Bhutan Tiger Heritage Project, Marwell Wildlife is working with local communities, Buddhist leaders, and conservation experts to protect tigers by combining modern science with traditional cultural knowledge. And I want to help too!
The Carnivore Team are passionate about conserving tigers both at Marwell and in the wild. As a team, we have decided to take on the challenge (mostly as non-runners!) and race to protect wildlife.
With your support, we can help protect these incredible animals and ensure they thrive for generations to come.
