Carol's fundraiser for Wuth Charity

Cycling the distance equivalent from Lands End to John O'Groats
Last year almost 400 babies were born needing extra help in the first few days and weeks of their lives from the Neonatal Unit at Wirral Women and Childrens Hospital, Arrowe Park.
We're raising £1.5 million to extensively refurbish the Neonatal Unit. By providing an extensive refurbishment to the Neonatal Unit including world class medical equipment and enhanced parent facilities we hope to make a difficult time a little bit more comfortable.
In conjunction with Genesis Gymnasium ...and for our part....my partner and I have accepted a challenge and will be cycling to raise funds towards the cost of an incubator for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Arrowe Park Hospital.
This cause is very close to our hearts as my Grandson 'Cillian' was born 2 months premature and spent the beginning of his life being cared for by the nurses and staff at this unit....so we would like to do our bit in helping to provide funds for such important life saving equipment.
Our aim is to cycle a total of 890 miles which is an equivalent distance from Lands End to John O'Groats. We plan to do this over 42 days ( not consecutive as we will need rest days ). We will post regularly on social media so people can track our progress.
The significance of 42 is because the NICU at Arrowe Park Hospital has been opened for 42 years.
To help us achieve this we will need the help, generosity and encouragement of our friends
in order to raise as much funds as possible through donations and sponsorship.
If you can help us with our challenge please make a donation.....it will be very much appreciated. Thank you. ❤xx
