WUTH Charity is the OFFICIAL charity of Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. We raise funds to make a real difference to patient care at Arrowe Park Hospital and Clatterbridge Hospital. Our projects range from life-saving medical equipment to 'little things that mean a lot'.

Story

'We are campaigning to raise funds for a charity very close to our hearts, Tiny Stars at WUTH. The reason we have chosen this charity is Billy, our little 7 year old son. Billy spent the first few months of his life in Arrowe Park NICU as he was born 3 months prematurely and weighed a tiny 2lb 7oz. His journey started tough with no certain outcome, the ride was unpredictable and full of turns nobody could foresee. Billy exceeded all expectations due to the care of Dr's, Nurses and life saving equipment at Arrowe Park. This charity is to raise necessary funds for the extension and refurbishment of the current NICU. Arrowe Park is one of only two level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Units in Merseyside and Cheshire, taking in the smallest and sickest babies. They are the reason Billy is here today, celebrating his 7th birthday soon and thriving. Our family will forever be indebted to the incredible staff at NICU Arrowe Park and words could never be enough to thank thembut we can and we will help raise money for more little lives to prosper.'
