Story
After declaring that I would never run again after I dragged myself around the 2017 London marathon and hated almost every step, I have decided to put myself through the mill again.
This time, I will be attempting to cover 10km for the National Brain Appeal, supporting the hospital that continues to take great care of me but being much more realistic about distance...
This run will be just over two years after my craniotomy and very shortly before my son's first birthday. It feels fitting to do something to support the hospital to celebrate a year of my son's life, which I honestly would never have imagined was possible when I was first diagnosed. We have so much to thank my team there for and those who do incredible work behind the scenes.
Many of you have already very kindly supported this charity and so if you feel you can (and would like to) donate again to encourage me in this endeavour, then I would be so grateful.
