Story
Water is life — yet in South Africa, it is becoming increasingly scarce.
The country is the 30th driest in the world and receives only about half of the global average rainfall. For the people, wildlife and ecosystems that depend on the Tugela River, this crisis is real and urgent.
In March 2026, I will be joining 24 Reckitt colleagues from around the world on an extraordinary challenge: the “Journey of Water” along the Tugela River in the Drakensberg Mountains.
This won’t just be a physical journey — it will be a chance to see, feel and truly understand the struggles that local communities and wildlife face every day, while taking part in meaningful volunteering project.
I am committed to raising £4,000 and every pound will go directly to WWF conservation projects in South Africa, helping to protect precious water resources, restore ecosystems and support the communities and wildlife that depend on them.
Your support will make a real difference — together, we can help secure a future where both people and nature can thrive.
Thank you,
Carolina
