Every day, 900,000 people in the UK face the challenges of living with dementia—a diagnosis that often confines them indoors and isolates them from the world around them. I am taking part with my colleagues at Right at Home, in a 24 hour endurance challenge on 11 July 2026 to support Dementia Adventure, a remarkable charity that sees beyond the condition and focuses on the individual. Dementia Adventure believes in the power of nature to heal and connect. Their innovative holidays, training programs, and research break down barriers, boost confidence, and create opportunities for people with dementia to stay active, maintain bonds with family and friends, and keep their spirit of adventure alive. This cause is close to my heart because it offers hope and dignity to those who need it most.
