Story
When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough.
My father Noel Page-Turner sadly passed away 8th August 2022 exactly a month to the day before Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth died. He had a haemorrhagic stroke over 5 years ago, daily life changed for our family and relentless caring took its toll. Life has been challenging for so many of us over these last few years. We gathered last Thursday 27th October to celebrate his life with just over 150 attendees it was a wonderful day remembering his life and all he achieved
This challenge has been hanging over me for the past 2 years as I had signed up to do a 10k 16 months ago and failed miserably, but with my father's death, i have needed a new goal and challenge. The date is set for the 12th of November, and there will be 4 of us taking part. Rather gleefully I am doing twice the distance of my gorgeous children !! just to keep them on their toes and not to forget the delightful Keir, Jazzy's wonderful friend who is studying in Aberdeen.
With more donations and support from you, we can rebuild even more lives and are so very grateful to you.
