Hi everyone,

Many of you regularly see James and I running around Durham City, so on the 18th July we are putting that training to use and running the Durham City 10km for St Cuthbert’s Hospice.

As many of you already know, I sadly lost my mum in 2016. She spent her final few weeks in St Cuthbert’s Hospice and the care we received as a family was absolutely amazing.

I can’t put into words how dedicated, compassionate and so fantastic the staff are here. They allowed us to create so many special memories in those last few weeks. Although I will never be able to repay them, raising money so they can continue to provide care to families like mine is the next best thing.

St Cuthbert’s Hospice provides specialist care to people with life-limiting illnesses, people approaching the end of life and the bereaved. We make no charge for our services, ensuring Hospice care is available to everyone. It costs over £2 million each year to keep St Cuthbert's Hospice running.

We hope to raise above our £200 target so please donate generously.
