After the devastating news about Andrew Claydon's passing on Wednesday 23rd April raising money for Midhurst Palliative Care becomes even more poignant now. Andy has helped me so much with my injuries especially when I first got back into walking and before my issues began over 5 plus years ago, giving me guidance, support and advice of how to doing things the right way! Looking forward when walking, walking upright, kicking my heal first; all which I smile to myself when I forget to do that knowing Andy would be telling me off!! For you Andy and all those touched by Cancer I am raising money to support this incredible local service which supports so many we know.

Probably every single one of us has been affected by Cancer in some form, whether it be battling yourself, or knowing someone who has fought, is battling, living with or is waiting on the other side because of Cancer.

I started from the 1st April 25 donating all the proceeds from the weekly Coat On Coat Off Wellbeing Walks but will not be stopping there. I am training for more.

On Saturday the 24th May at 10am I will also be taking on the 42km Sussex Marathon walking from Turners Hill to Brighton. 10 to 15hrs (they suggest!) of hilly terrain will make this a tough walk, even tougher now though with Andy on my t-shirt taking him along with me for the walk
