Story
--- Fighting the hidden battle with allergies ---
Both of my children, aged 3 and 6, live with serious nut allergies. Every day comes with its own set of anxieties — school lunches, birthday parties, playdates, and even flights — all situations most families take for granted. We are constantly reading labels, asking questions, and preparing for emergencies, all while trying to make sure our children don’t feel different or held back.
This April, I’ll be running my first-ever marathon (yes — 42.195 km!) in Paris. I’m doing this not only as a personal challenge, but to raise money for Anaphylaxis UK, an incredible organisation dedicated to educating, supporting, and empowering families living with severe allergies.
By supporting this cause, you’re helping families like ours navigate daily life more safely and with greater confidence. Thank you for being part of this journey ❤️

Anaphylaxis UK is the only UK-wide charity operating solely for the growing numbers of people at risk of serious allergic reactions and anaphylaxis. While there’s no treatment or cure for anaphylaxis, we believe that by providing information, training and support, there is a brighter future for people living with serious allergies.
Their mission is to create a safer environment for everyone with allergies by working with and offering training for the food industry, schools, pre-schools, colleges, health professionals and others.
