Celonis Impact day for RCK

Felix El Alami is raising money for Refugee Community Kitchen

Celonis Impact Day · 26 June 2026

Our vans are at the end of their road... and we urgently need a new van to keep distributing food to people who need it in Northern France. Help us getting a new second-hand van that will last for another 10 years.

Story

Hi all,

After the great success of the in-office food drive and cooking in the RCK kitchen we are once again raising funds for this massively impactful charity.

We have also secured donation matching from Celonis so every pound will go twice as far!

RCK this year need extra support as their trusty vans which pack up and deliver all the food cooked in the kitchen are nearing the end of their cycle, read more below!

After years of service, RCK vans are at the end of their road.

RCK use their vans on a daily basis: to carry equipment, food products, and most of all to get the food out. In Calais as well in London, our vans travel miles every day to get to various locations where hundreds of hot, delicious, nutritious meals are distributed to people in need. With more than 2 millions meals delivered since Refugee Community Kitchen started ten years ago, our vans aren’t only part of the kitchen: they are the only means we have to reach out to displaced people and deliver the food to them, day in, day out.

We bought our current vans second-hand years ago, (our oldest van, New Hotfood, joined our team in 2016!), and they have been the backbone of our daily operations. We simply couldn’t work without them.

Why £25,000? This is roughly the price for a good quality, automatic second-hand van that will keep on going for at least another ten years.
