Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page... The team at CG&Co have chosen to partner with Home Start Manchester this year for various different fundraising activities, including the Great Manchester Run (10k).

Home Start Manchester recruit, train and support an army of local parent volunteers, many of which have been through challenges themselves in the past. They are carefully matched with a family and visit them every week, in their homes, providing friendship, a non-judgemental ear, practical help and guidance, help to get out, access services and build a network of support. The small staff team equip and guide over 90 volunteers with robust training, supervision and checks.

Home Start is set up as a network of over 200 independent branches across the UK, but CG&Co will be working closely with the Manchester branch in their fundraising endeavours for 2024, in hopes of making a difference to the local community. Home Start currently have 80 families on the waiting list to access their services and support, and we hope that through our partnership we are able to have a positive impact on some of these people. Donating to charity has always been high on the agenda for everyone at CG&Co, but this year we have set specific goals to ensure we focus our time and resources in bettering the Manchester community as much as we can.

The Great Manchester 10k takes place on the 26th of May and we have 10 employees taking on the challenge in conjunction with Home Start.
