Story
Yesterday 19 September 26 I finished the 2-mile Swim Serpentine (3.59km), completing the London Classics: Pru100 Ride London (2015, 2018), the London Marathon 2024, and now the swim. It was my weakest discipline and my hardest challenge.
My journey with Sewa UK began in 2015, when trustee Harish invited me to join the Sewa Ride London team for Pru100, raising funds after the Nepal earthquake. It was close to my heart: the year before, in 2014, we were in Nepal on the Mount Kailash parikrama. I've supported Sewa UK for 20 years, and they gave me a charity place for the London Marathon in 2024.
The swim wasn't a charity place. I entered it on my own, and I wanted to finish the way I started, by raising funds for Sewa UK once more.
Nepal has been hit by devastating floods, and communities now need long-term infrastructure and rehabilitation. Please help me support the lives lost and rebuild Nepal.
Every pound counts. Thank you. 🙏
