For a local charity supporting the homeless, Emmaus Hull & East Riding.

Me, Kay, and Gaynor are taking part in 12 consecutive hours of knitting squares. We hope to be joined by several friends aiming to knit as many squares as possible to make blankets for the Emmaus outreach team to give out to our most vulnerable in society.

The date (June 20th) is significant, being the longest day in the year, it must feel that every day is the longest when the street is your home. A local cafe is kindly hosting us and we endeavour to complete the challenge outdoors in empathy.
