I am running the Sheffield Half Marathon on Sunday 7 April to raise money for Sanctuary Scholarships as part of Team Hallam.

I chose to support the Hallam Fund because I think its a great cause and hopefully I can raise some money to help.

Sanctuary Scholarships recognise the determination, aspirations and resilience of asylum seeking students, and their abilities and potential to succeed. Sheffield Hallam University is a University of Sanctuary in recognition of its outstanding support for refugees and people seeking sanctuary across all areas of higher education. Through raising money by running the Sheffield Half Marathon, more financial support can be offered to those students attending Sheffield Hallam University to ensure they can have an immersive and positive experience.
