Team Hallam are running the Sheffield Half Marathon on Sunday 7 April to raise money for the Sanctuary Scholarships as part of the Hallam Fund.

Sanctuary Scholarships recognise the determination, aspirations and resilience of asylum seeking students, and their abilities and potential to succeed. Sheffield Hallam University is a University of Sanctuary in recognition of its outstanding support for refugees and people seeking sanctuary across all areas of higher education. The University of Sanctuary accreditation, given by the charity City of Sanctuary, recognises and celebrates the good practice of universities welcoming sanctuary seekers into their communities and fostering a culture of welcome and inclusion for all.
