Hello hello! Thanks for visiting Charlie and Emil's fundraising page for Breaking Barriers!

In what will be the competition debut of this majestic duo, we will be pushing each other on to complete the mammoth distance of 21.1 km, all in the hope of raising money for education and training of refugees and asylum seekers in the UK.

Breaking Barriers is a specialist charity helping refugees to find meaningful employment. Refugees flee their homes in fear from war, persecution, and violence. And more hardship awaits in the UK.

Through Charlie and Emil's careers, we have recognised that labour market knowledge is hard to come by for refugees, which creates distorted narratives around the current crisis we find ourselves in.

Thanks to our supporters, Breaking Barriers offers 1-2-1 advice, education and work opportunities to overcome these challenges.

And, together, we help remarkable people to build new lives.
