We are running this years Race For The Kids for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity because of the love and support they give sick children.

I have been undergoing cancer treatment with Great Ormond Street for 5 years after i was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour and underwent emergency surgery. None of the progress i have made in that time would been possible without the excellence, care, support and love of Great Ormond Street Hospital. We want to encourage you to contribute into the research 🔬, family support 👨‍👩‍👧, facilities 🏥 and equipment 🛏to provide the same wonderful love ❤️ and care 👩‍⚕️ to all children who are treated in this great hospital. 😁

Over the last 13 years, RBC Race for the Kids has raised more than £9 million for the children and families at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH). This year, they’re hoping to raise over £1 million to help build the new Children’s Cancer Centre at GOSH and save more children’s lives – but only with your incredible support!

Every week, around five children in the UK lose their lives to cancer. That’s five families who are faced with the worst news possible. They’re already pushing the boundaries. Pioneering research is underway to find the most effective treatments and cures, which give hope to children and their families. But these advances have outstripped GOSH’s current cancer care facilities, and the hospital needs a new home to help deliver breakthrough therapies which will benefit children from all over the world.
