Story
It's been five years since we lost my brother Mat (One t!) far too early due to epilepsy. So now, we're running the Great North Run in his memory and to help prevent others from suffering the grief of losing a loved one.
He ran the Great North Run several times (maybe even 7 times?) so it means a lot to do this one as a family. He was always on the go, he never stopped - legend has it that he even entered a half marathon once and decided to carry on and do the full marathon half-way through!
We'll run, remember Mat and - as one of his mottos in life was "never knowingly undercaked" - we'll maybe share a slice of cake at the finish line.
Please support us so we can honour the memory of a beloved father, son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend.
