It's been five years since we lost Mat (One t!) Brown far too early due to epilepsy. So now, we're running the Great North Run in his memory and to help prevent others from suffering the grief of losing a loved one.

Our team is a mix of more experienced runners and complete newbies to the half-marathon game.

We'll run, remember Mat and - as one of his mottos in life was "never knowingly undercaked" - we'll maybe share a slice of cake at the finish line.
