The Great Bristol Run is back, and so are our amazing team of fundraisers running for local Hospice Care!
Story
St Peter’s hospice holds an incredibly special place in our hearts, having cared for my husband James, and Jasmine & Alfie’s Dad in the weeks before he died. James was only 52, had bravely battled cancer for 13 years, and sadly passed away on 18th July 2025.
During those devastating days before James passed away, Alfie stood in the hospice and decided there and then that he would raise vital funds for the hospice and to raise awareness for the work they do.
The “Cherrython” idea was born.
Together with our friends, family, and colleagues, we'll be doing a half-marathon “fun run” in March, followed by the Bristol 10km in May.
We are running to remember James, his courage, bravery, love and laughter.
