Hi everyone,

I have decided to do this walk in memory of all my grandparents that I have lost. I will be starting my walk in September for the whole month. It will be a mixture of outdoor walking and the treadmill weather dependant. Please don’t break the bank but donate whatever you can afford to this amazing charity.

Loosing a grandparent isn’t easy for anyone and I would like to remember mine by raising money to give a grandparent charity.

I haven’t got an aim yet as to how many miles I would like to do in a month this will be added at a later stage

Each of us had a different experience of the national lockdowns over the last two years, but most of us can understand how this was a lonely and isolating time for many people. Sadly, this is a social issue that extends beyond the lockdowns, and is the daily norm for many older people in the UK, including the oldest and most vulnerable. In fact, past reports have highlighted that Thanet has been named as one of the loneliest places in the UK.
