Story
I’m super excited (and nervous) to be taking on the London Marathon 2027 to raise money and awareness for Ocular Melanoma UK (https://omuk.org/), a charity very close to me and my family.
OM UK looks to help support those living with this incredibly rare form or eye cancer, providing much needed support and helping to fund further research into this disease.
As some of you may know, my brother Ben was diagnosed with OM back in November 2024, undergoing countless, tests, scans, treatments and operations since to the initial diagnosis.
Taking on such a challenge like a marathon is a massive ask, but it feels small compared with what my big brother has been through (plus he went and ran the marathon last year for Young Lives V Cancer) and everyone else suffering. This is for all those suffering, hoping that they can ensure better treatment, care and eventually a cure can be found 💙
Any donation would be greatly appreciated and thank you for taking the time to read my story. Now wish me luck… think I might need it!
