Story

Charly Shore

3rd October 2003 - 22nd January 2025

From the age of five, when he started to learn piano, Charly loved music. He became an amazing multi instrumentalist, also playing flute, saxophone, clarinet, guitar and ukulele, as well as singing and writing his own songs. He wanted to make music his life and career, and was studying folk music and songwriting at Leeds Conservatoire when he died suddenly.

Charly was diagnosed with Hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome when he was in his teens, and although this caused him many physical problems it did not prevent him from living his life to the full. He amazed those who met him with his determination, talent and kindness towards friends who were struggling, despite his own problems.

Ehlers Danlos Syndrome is a condition which can affect all parts of the body and Charly saw many different medical professionals during his search for treatment. We hope that a donation through this page will enable further research and help for those suffering with this debilitating illness.
