Jurassic Coast Challenge 2025 · 17 May 2025 to 18 May 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

Chestnut Tree House is the children’s hospice for East Sussex, West Sussex, Brighton and Hove and South East Hampshire, caring for 300 children and young adults from 0-19 years of age every year, both at the hospice and in families’ own homes.

Story

On May 17th, I will be pushing myself to the limit by running 100k along the Jurassic Coast to raise money for Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice, a charity that has been a huge source of support for our family since Freddie’s Galloway-Mowat Syndrome (GMS) diagnosis.

Why Chestnut Tree House Matters

Chestnut Tree House provides specialist care, respite, and end-of-life support for children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. But their care goes far beyond medical support, it’s about having fun, creating precious moments, offering guidance, and ensuring that families like ours never feel alone.

For families going through really tough times, Chestnut Tree House is a place full of comfort, hope, and support. They’re there for parents, siblings, and extended family, helping them through life with children who have complex medical needs, offering not just expert care, but also moments to smile, laugh, and make amazing memories together.

Why This Challenge Matters

This run is about more than just personal challenge. I'm doing it for Fred, and for the incredible work Chestnut Tree House does.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help ensure that more children and families continue to receive the support they need.

Thank you!
