Chic Stenhouse (73) and Alex Carruthers (62) both Parkinson’s sufferers) are getting on their bikes again and cycling the 185 miles Hebridean Way from Barra in the south to the Butt of Lewis over six days starting on 12th May 2026 and hoping to raise funds in the process for Sport Parkinson’s. They will be supported by good friend Mitch Penman.

Parkinson's UK and Sport Parkinson's are proud to be working in partnership to provide access to physical activity and exercise for individuals, groups and communities to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of all people affected by Parkinsons. Over the course of the next 3 years we are aiming to raise £175,000 for the Parkinson's UK Active Community Grants Programme.
