Campaign by Parkinson’s UK (RCN 258197 (England & Wales), SC037554 (Scotland))
Aiming to raise £25,000 for the Parkinson's UK Active Community Grants Programme

Story

Chic Stenhouse (73), and Alex Carruthers (62) who are both Parkinson’s sufferers are getting on their bikes once again and cycling the 185 miles Hebridean Way from Barra in the south to the Butt of Lewis over six days starting on 12th May 2026 and hoping to raise funds in the process for Sport Parkinson’s. They are being supported by Mitch Penman as backup crew.

Parkinson's UK and Sport Parkinson's are proud to be working in partnership to provide access to physical activity and exercise for individuals, groups and ppcommunities to improve the mental and physical wellbeing of all people affected by Parkinsons. Over the course of the next 3 years we are aiming to raise £175,000 for the Parkinson's UK Active Community Grants Programme.
