Story

My Mom (Patricia Arnott Job) passed away on the 12th of November 2024, Over the Final 12 months of her life, she raised over £2000 for cancer charities and organizations close to her heart, with the help of her Friends at St Clements Court.
Sadly she didn't have the time with us to do her next fundraiser, which was for the Georgina Ward at Russells Hall Hospital, She received so much care and love from all the staff there, And what would be a most daunting experience, turned into a pleasant one due to the hard work of everyone on the ward.
In my Mom's Honour and with it being Mothers day on the 30th of March, I will be shaving my beard off, one I've grown out for many years now, and if at all possible donating the hair, to an organisation that helps create wigs for people going through Cancer Treatment.
The C4 Georgina Ward, Haematology and Oncology Assessment Unit (Triage) and the Georgina Day Case Unit at Russells Hall Hospital supports their patients and families through the cancer journey.
Dealing with a cancer diagnosis is a difficult and distressing time for both the patient and their loved ones. It is the main goal to make a difficult time more bearable by ensuring a strong focus on the well-being of patients, families, and carers.
By contributing to our campaign, you will help us purchase a vital pieces of equipment, refurbishments to areas of the ward and many more items.
Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant impact.
