Story
Against all odds, Chris has somehow secured a ballot place in the London Marathon—proof that luck can, in fact, be spectacularly misplaced. As a loyal Sheffield Wednesday fan, he’s no stranger to endurance, disappointment, and long uphill battles… so really, this felt like a natural next step.
Now faced with the minor inconvenience of actually running 26.2 miles, Chris is sacrificing comfort, dignity, and possibly several toenails, So he’s decided to turn this lucky place into something worthwhile. Ashgate Hospice, a brilliant local charity that supports people and families through some of life’s toughest moments.
If you’re able to donate, it would mean a lot—every step (and inevitable blister) will be worth it knowing it’s for something so important. You’d be backing a great cause and it would help give this ordeal more meaning than a record breaking minus points end of season finish—any donation would be massively appreciated. 💙
