Story
67 PUBS. 81 MILES. ONE DAY.
On 15th September we're taking on the Urban Pubs & Bars Marathon: every single one of our sites, from Bat & Ball Westfield to The Whippet Inn in Kensal Rise, in a single day.
That's 67 venues across all seven corners of London. East, City, West End, West London, South West, South East and North. Roughly 81 miles of ground covered by foot, pedal, bus, tube and train. Thirteen and a half hours on the move, from first light to last orders.
To put that in perspective, it's three marathons back-to-back, taking in Stratford, Shoreditch, Soho, Turnham Green, Tooting, Dulwich, Highgate and everywhere in between. One city, one day.
We're doing it because Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity matters to us, and every pound raised here goes straight towards building a new private bedroom for families to spend time together in comfort during tough times.
So back the team. Chuck a few quid in the pot. And if you spot us dragging ourselves through Kensal Rise somewhere around hour eleven, a cheer wouldn't go amiss.
67 pubs. One day. Let's make every mile count.
